You be the judge

Typical curious little boy... or lack of supervision?
I'll let you be the judge!

Happy Holidays!

To start off I just want to wish everyone a very late Happy Thanksgiving!
(but would you expect anything less from me!)
We had a great Thanksgiving week, filled with fun family times, Disneyland Christmas parades, snow in California, lots of yummy food and reflection on all that we are so thankful for. I enjoyed a very mellow birthday on Friday with Ryan and the boys and even got in a little "me" time to shop while my sweet hubby watched the kids. Our little family has been so excited to start kick off the Christmas season! Christmas decorations are up, Christmas lights are hung and wish lists to Santa Claus have been sent... I guess all that needs to be done now is some good ol' Christmas shopping!
I bet you didn't know that it snows in Southern California... well it does! Every night at 7pm at the Bella Terra shopping center in Huntington beach! Ryan enjoying the first snow of the season Emily, Porter and Jack doing the same! The Stockings are hung and Christmas decorations in place...

Even our little Lexie is getting into the Christmas spirit!

Holiday TV

I have to say that one of my favorite things about this time of year is the Holiday TV programs. I especially enjoy the old Christmas shows, Jack Frost, Santa Claus is Comin' to Town, Dr. Seuss' How the Grinch Stole Christmas, Miracle on 34th Street, just to name a few... you know the ones you used to watch as a kid. Like so many other years I opened my December issue of Family Fun Magazine (another great item I might add) to see the abc family "Countdown to 25 Days of Christmas/25 Days of Christmas". It is a page that abc television puts out every year that lists holiday movies-shows that they will be airing until Christmas. I get so excited every time I get this. It lists the shows, the dates and time. Its great! You can plan ahead, set your Tivo if needed and pick the shows you most want to see or think your kids would like. You can rip the page right out of the magazine and put it up somewhere (like the refrigerator) for you to see all month. I love it! I think this page is placed in tons of different magazines so if you haven't already got yours... keep your eyes open. You could also just go to abcfamily.com.
Enjoy your holiday viewing!

Are you a Knucklehead?

WE LOVE KNUCKLEHEADS
For those of you who have never heard of knuckleheads clothing please let me introduce you! Knuckleheads clothing is a unique and cool line of clothing for boys with an edgy urban look. This fun and totally awesome clothing line has taken off and is one of our family favorites!!
Little side note... Knuckleheads clothing is designed and run by our good friends Melissa and Trent Nash. ("Nash" was one of Ryan's missionary companions from long ago and the two have remained best of friends) The Nash family are great friends and talented beyond belief.
We have been so lucky to be so spoiled by the Nash's and Knucklehead clothing and we owe a huge thanks to them for dressing our boys and keeping them so stylish! So when you are looking to dress your little man I highly recommend you check out Knuckleheads clothing.

Halloween... Halloween
Trick or Treat!!
Halloween was fun this year. We had a "little monkey" and a "Police Swat Man" join the family for the night. Porter was really in to the trick or treating this time and even managed to talk his dad into taking him to a few more houses after we were all done and home. Phearson was just happy to be outside and loved all the pumpkins and lights/decorations. The boys getting into the candy before we even left the house! "The Gang" Porter as the Police/Swat, Jay and Logan as Mario and Luigi, Cody as Buzz Lightyear and Phearson the little monkey Porter and Cody Phearson and the pumpkins
