What exactly is "Crazy"?

I've been asked a lot lately how it is having three "little ones" and I am always quick to answer that it is "CRAZY" , "WILD" or something of that sort. I DO realize that MANY people before me have had three children, or more, and manage just fine but maybe I am just a slow learner because I am STILL trying to figure this whole thing out. And just when I think I've finally got it... I realized that I just don't. For example... some of the fun things I got to do this week!
1. Figure out how to get Phearson out of the bathroom after he locked himself IN 10 minutes before Porter had to be to preschool.
2. Clean poo poo out of a full bathtub of water after Phearson relieved himself while taking a bath
3. Prying a curious little toddler's hand out of the lint trap after... yes you guessed it... PHEARSON got his hand stuck and became hysterically scared he would never get it out
4. Washing the blankets from my bed 2 days in a row after the dog threw up on them 2 nights in a row
5. Checking on PHEARSON every 5 minutes since he has figured out how to take his pants and his DIAPER off all by himself but refuses to use the potty. (Shari, do you have any of that duct tape left?)
6. Changing Tav's outfit ever time he eats because he barfs all over himself
7. Changing my outfit ever time Tav eats because he usually barfs all over me too
8. Washing and folding the same load of laundry twice since the boys decided to throw the freshly washed and folded clothes at each other and all over the floor the minute I stepped out of the room to answer the phone (and the dog, who is shedding, of course cuddled right up in them)
You see... just your usual fun right! Really what I am getting at is, for those of you out there who have to associate with me... please just bear with me! If I seem lost, spacey, vacant, etc. It is because I probably AM! Give me a minute and I should snap to!
And just for the record... I wouldn't trade this CRAZY life for anything else.

Crazy has now become MY normal!!

A Happy Anniversary

Ryan and I celebrated our 10th wedding anniversary on Friday. I seriously can not believe it has been 10 years already, it seems like just yesterday Ryan was picking out the hundreds of bobby pins from my hair after our wedding reception! So I figure since I did the sappy fathers day post that I would keep this one fun and simple. Happy Anniversary Babe!!
I Love Ya!
Although we didn't get to take our much anticipated trip to Hawaii to celebrate we did manage to get a fun night to ourselves. (Believe me we take what we can get these days!) We took a romantic 1 hour gondola ride through Newport Harbor at sunset and had dinner at one of our favorite little Mexican restaurant afterwards. The weather was absolutely perfect and almost felt just a little like Hawaii afterall.
"The gifts"
For her... A beautiful bouquet of flowers including my favorite, Hawaiian Hibiscus
And for him... a box of authentic Hawaiian chocolates
The view from our Gondola
You just can't get better than that... a great guy, and a fantastic sunset! I'm a sucker for both!!

Thanks honey for a fun filled 10 years! Cant wait to do it again!!

2 Months Old

THE TAV MAN Tav is now 2 months old! I can't believe how fast the time is flying! This little man has been through quite a bit since his big arrival day but he has definitely been a trooper! We had his 2 month check up today and he is doing good. Unfortunately he has lost 2 ounces in the last two weeks so we are going to increase his feedings and try to play catch up... hopefully he doesn't barf it all up!
Just some fun facts about our Tav
*Current weight: 8lbs 13 oz (7 oz less than both his brothers weighed at 2 months)
*Height 21 1/2 inches (same height as both his brothers st 2 months)
*He is SMILING (melts my heart)
*He is "cooing"
*Has big, dark blue eyes *Sleeping through the night (YEA!!!!) *Has the cutest little dimple on his left cheek *Loves to be held/cuddled *Loves to be talked to *Loves a big soft fluffy blanket near, around or just plain on his face *Loves to eat! (Unfortunately a lot of it comes right back up) *Is not barfing up "quite" as much (Thank you Nutramigen) *Cries hysterically when the bottle is taken out of his mouth to burp (Every time!) *Skin/rash 100% better (Thank you again Nutramigen) *Still has a head FULL of hair (I don't think he has lost one hair yet!) Although it has lightened up dramatically *Has super long, strong, skinny legs *He doesn't sit still much. Seems like there is always some body part moving. (Porter says that he is dancing) *He is a baby with many expressions

He Is LOVED beyond explaination!!

Just a random funny incident

What do YOU do when you forget to take the trash out and as you are still lying in bed you hear the trash truck outside you house?
Well if you live at my house... you run out of the house half dressed, with no shoes, grab the overflowing trash can and CHASE THE TRASH TRUCK down the street!
(I wish I would have gotten a picture of Ryan "sprinting "down the street with the trash can! It was hilarious)

Never a dull moment at our house... always something to laugh about! Not only was my husband chasing the trash man, I was outside in my robe, bed head and all, taking pictures of it!

Oh yes, we ARE "that" family on the block!

Happy Dad's Day!

Happy Fathers Day to the most incredible Dad in town!

Without being too sappy I wanted to wish my sweet hubby a very Happy Father's Day. Most of you know what an amazing Father Ryan is to our boys! I always knew that Ryan would be a wonderful dad. This fun "crazy" guy has always had a way with children for as long as I have known him. Our boys love him to death and can't wait for the minute "Daddy" gets home from work each day. His sometimes "rough exterior" can have you fooled but this big guy is nothing but a big kid at heart and the best Dad's there is!

"It was you who taught me that the proof of a great man is in how he holds a child...

or in how he allows a child to hold him"

-Denise Marhoefer

I will never forget the first time Ryan held our tiny little Porter in the NICU. I knew right then he was going to be the best dad ever! I'm so lucky to have Ryan in my life and I am even luckier that he is, hands down... the best Dad around!

I also wanted to wish a Happy Fathers day to these two amazing men!

MY DAD- who has always been the greatest Father! Most importantly he provided me with the best of example of what a father should be so that when I finally met my mate I would know exactly what to look for! MY FATHER IN-LAW- who raised his little boy to be an outstanding man, husband and FATHER just like he is himself HAPPY FATHERS DAY Gentlemen!

CAUTION

So this is what I found the other day after getting out of the shower. Apparently my children feel that our house is a dangerous place!
And that "Helmets should be worn at all times"...
especially while Watching T.V.
(Never mind Phearson's miss matched pajamas. Guess who got the boys ready for bed the night before... Daddy?)

Family, Friends and tons of FUN!

It has been a VERY busy week so I have a lot of catching up to do. We have had tons of fun with family and friends and have lots and lots of pictures to share. (please bear with me, this could be THE longest post EVER!)
Soooo lets get this party started!
It all began last Wednesday when the Nash family came to town...
Thursday we hit the beach with kids in tow for a little Knuckleheads photo shoot. Melissa was able to get some great pictures and the boys had some well deserved fun in the sun!
We also met up with Taber and Jenna and family who came to join the party! Yeeaaa! Porter and Otto working up the courage to jump from the lifeguard tower Porter thought he would strip down and show off his muscles.. and his "skateboard belt" Phearson sporting some comfy Knucklehead P.J.'s
And OF COURSE thought he needed to taste out the sand... AGAIN!
Redge didn't want to be left out and also took a taste test!
Phearson making his move on Collin in front of the cameras
Score?!
Oh but the fun didn't stop there!
Friday night, with the Nash Families, we BRAVELY took our WHOLE family to the Dodger game. Total count... 7 adults and 6 children (under the age of 4)! I wish that I had gotten a picture of all of us because as you can imagine it was a site to see! Nevertheless it was tons of fun! We sat in the "nose bleed" seats, all the way at the very top! The boys had a blast and we managed to make it past the 7th inning stretch before deciding that we should leave early to miss the crowds and the traffic. It was Porter's first MLB game and he hasn't stopped singing "Take Me out to the Ballgame" since! Here we are... at the top! Otto, Porter and Phearson living it up!
Baseball... A Soda
And Cotton Candy = 2 Happy little Boys!
Sunday was Tav's Blessing. We were lucky enough to have so many family and friends come and be with us for Tav's special day. Tav was given the sweetest blessing by his Daddy! Thanks to everyone who traveled far and near to be with us to celebrate this wonderful baby boy!
TAV MAVRICK ROSENLOF
The Fab Five!
Grandma and Grandpa Bell with baby Tav
Grammy and Grandpa Rosenlof with baby Tav
(Tav rock'n the wild hair of course, even on blessing day!)
It was fun having my brothers and sis here!
The girls
After the blessing we had a little party... For those of you who are familiar with my family you know how many BOYS there are... so as you can imagine the poor little girls at these parties have to find ways to entertain themselves!
Ruby trying to make fun out of the beat up, partically broken, tractor ride toy.
Emily just making due with a big chunk of ice! Oh but the parties don't stop there! On Monday it was this kid's 35th birthday!
Everyone was so excited to celebrate Matthew! HAPPY BIRTHDAY to this guy!
Life just wouldn't be the same without you...
Best "Boy friends" forever! Today we spent one last fun afternoon down at the beach with Derek, Krystal and little Lincoln before they head back to Utah.
Cody and Porter just taking a minute
