Today I Wish...

I occasionally find my self thinking such things as I wish that.... or If only... or Someday... Well, today is no different. As I eat my bowl of Cheerios for dinner and attempt to ignore my children noisily throwing Lego's across the kitchen floor, I once again catch my thoughts wondering.
Today I wish that I could open up my back door and have This
AND I so wish that I had a Dishwasher other than myself or my husband Now I don't think that is too much to wish for in one day, right? I can only imagine what tomorrow will bring.

I Just Thought...

That maybe, just maybe we would be able to get a good family picture.
It has always been impossible for our little bunch snap a good picture together.
But I Just Thought...
That it was a wedding, everyone is happy, clean, dressed nice and all in one place, right.
I am determined and convinced...
that one day...
It will happen... Just not this day!
Attempt #1 - I love how Phearsons fingers are being ripped off in order to hold him there
Attempt #2 - Hands everywhere! What is going on?!
Attempt #3 (thought maybe a little black and white would help.. I thought wrong. Nothing will help the devil child aka Porter)
Attempt #4 -"Phearson is outta here"

Attempt #5 -Getting better

Attempt #6 - OK! We give up, maybe next time

I hear ya babe... Enough is enough!

Family, Fun and a Wedding

We made the trip to Utah for the wedding of my little brother and his cute fiance Emily. We had a great trip! We played, visited, ate and stayed up way past bedtimes. It has taken me forever to post because I have so many pictures and don't even know where to start. So I suppose I will start from the beginning... The wedding!
The newly married..
Colby and Emily

Aren't they just adorable!

They were married at the Bountiful Temple. The temple grounds were beautiful with tulips in full bloom EVERYWHERE!

The reception was at the "The Manor at Eldredge Square", which was once a older house that has since been made into a reception hall. It was the funnest little place with fantastic wood detail inside and the cutest waterfall, pond, bridge and gardens outside.

Don't let these kids faces fool you... once we got past picture taking these boys had a blast!

Colby and Emily with the nephews and niece from the Bell side. A glimpse into the future of what is to come!? (only maybe a few more girls in the mix?)

Another attempt at a decent family picture... Mom, Dad and sisters of the groom

We got to visit with old friends and rekindle romances.

But don't think the fun stopped there. The wedding ended and the newlyweds jetted off to Jamica but we continued to party. Phearson doing his "thing" (whatever that may be) aka weird masked motorcycle rider.

We also spent a LOT of time playing with the newest member of the family, Mollie. The cutest little peekapoo something or another you ever did meet. (Can never remember the exact mix)

We enjoyed some swimming at Alin and Rendi's hotel. These two were just chillin together when all of the sudden Phearson dished out a random, out of the blue headbutt to Tav. Poor little Tav just couldn't understand why his big brother would do such a thing... brotherly love?

Nothing a little separation and a coke couldn't fix though! Of course a Utah trip wouldn't be right without a little guy time and some go kart racing...

And the utilization of some great skate parks

After a fun filled week we headed home. It usually takes about 10 hours to get home and since it was MOTHERS DAY we decided to break up the drive and stay in Las Vegas for a night. So where do you mothers go on your special day in Las Vegas to hang out and relax, The Belagio or maybe the Mandalain Bay?..

Nope!

The GOLDEN NUGGET of course!!

Reality = 3 young children and 49$ rooms.

They had a fun pool which had a shark/fish tank in the middle, which also had a water slide that ran right through the tank. It was a hit! We had a blast swimming and relaxing in the jacuzzi.

Thanks Colby and Emily for getting married and providing a great excuse for the family to all hang out!

Missing Grandpa Already

So we have returned from our trip to Utah. (more pictures to come)
Tonight was "Family Night" at Porter's preschool where we came across this...
It was a wall filled with butterflies that the kids had painted with the title,
If I Were A Butterfly...
Missing you already grandma and grandpa!
