Busy Times

Life here at the Rosenlof's has been busy, busy! (Thus the lack of posting to the blog) Just a little recap of what has been going on in "our crazy world". We started off last Monday by getting our Christmas tree. The boys had a blast at the Christmas tree lot ,running a muck, while mom and dad tried to agree on a good ol Cougar Mountain Christmas tree that would actually fit in our little house. After spending probably way too much money (on something we are just going to throw away in a few weeks) we brought the tree home for some good old decorating. Phearson and Porter were both very excited about the whole event and were very "helpful" at getting the lights and decorations on the tree. After about three times of putting all the ornaments on the tree, then off the tree, and then back on the tree again, I managed to convince Porter that the decorating was done. He was pretty proud of the finished project. The middle of the week consisted of work for mom and dad, school and play for the boys and a little Christmas shopping in between. Friday Ryan and I had a fun evening and dinner with Matthew and Megan at PF Chang's for Megan's birthday. Great food, conversation and company... who could ask for more! Thanks to Grammy for babysitting!! Happy Birthday Megan!!

The "boys/friends" Saturday brought more fun still. Saturday morning was our ward's breakfast with Santa. The morning was filled with friends, cousins, food and of course... Santa. Who could ask for a better way to start the day. Then after breakfast with Santa... was back to our house for Jack's birthday party. It was a "skateboard party" with a real skateboard ramp (that Ryan made) and all. So once again we ate, we partied and had a good time. There was also a huge inflatable slide that the kids had a blast on as well as did the grown ups. Fun times!! Busy times... fun times.. and I'm Pooped!
