Let me just start by saying that I understand that having multiple children can be time consuming. Believe me, I understand the process of getting everyone fed, dressed, getting teeth brushed and hair done. I mean it takes me hours to get my clan ready to go somewhere, and that is with boys, who don't have much hair on their heads. So I am completely on board for doing things that make life easier.
With that said I think I now have a better understanding of why I never had any girls. Because I might have had the inclination to do something like THIS, just because it's "easy"!

In my mom's defense however...Perms and Afro's were cool in the 70's.

LOVE those pics because I had that same ugly do! Why did mothers think that was cool to burn our heads with those home perms?
I don't know what to say. I stuck with the perm until I was like 15...at least you got rid of yours pretty quick. Just be glad that you have long, pretty straight hair now.
Maybe that's why I'm having another boy!

Wow.....I would have never guessed it you ....by the curly hair that is. Porter looks just like you in those pictures! I didn't know you can perm your hair so young. I also fell victim to the perm thing.....but not till I was about 10. Maybe that is why my kids all have long straight hair, I am traumatized by curls! I had a perm mullet.....to bad no one will ever seen those pictures!!!

How cute are your fros I remember seeing like one of those when we were in High School. I didn't know colby was getting married in may that's awsome. June is my month finally. I be here in may working my little but off we just bought a house so I won't be able to jump to an island for vaca. We'll figure something out. What's the date thier getting married?
Oh, my goodness!! Now I know what to do with Olive's crazy hair!! A perm is a wonderful solution! I wonder how much Megan charges for a beautiful, virtually maintenance-free do!
