Eight interesting things I learned while visiting a Pumpkin Patch in Utah
1. Farming equipment is fun to play on
2. You don't need an actual Bull to do a little "Bull riding"
3. The fleshy growth hanging from the head or neck of a turkey is called the "wattle".
4. And it is a lot more gross looking in person.
5. My son Tav has a very sensitive gag reflex. Especially to the smell of cows/pasture. (The poor kid caught one whiff and couldn't stop gaging, retching and even vomited a little)
6. Our family is getting so big we can almost fill a wagon ride ourselves
7. Corn mazes can be scary
8. And you get a lot more bang for your buck at a pumpkin patch in Utah. A wagon ride, farm animals, corn maze, real tractors, pretend bull riding, and 12 large pumpkins all for a very reasonable price!

4 interesting facts that I learned from a night of pumpkin carving.
1. Some people tend to be very protective of "THEIR" pumpkins
2. Everyone is very "in to it" when you first start
3. The kids get end up easily distracted and lose interest real fast
4. And the adults end up carving all 11 pumpkins, for hours, for everyone to enjoy!

So many fun pictures! I'm glad you guys were able to go to the pumpkin patch here and have a good time. I love the pictures of the boys "bull riding."
I'm not even a little motivated to start carving pumpkins with the kids yet. They didn't even want anything to do with it so I figured I'll wait till they REALLY want to. :)
So glad you guys were here for Halloween!
Thanks for all the fun times, we all had so much fun. I agree, the pictures you captured look great, and I am sure it was all worth it. I love getting together with you guys, your family is so welcoming, and just a blast to be around. The food was so fun and very good. I need your popcorn and frito recipe, that was too good. Mike loved it, and we can't get him to eat anything sweet, so I need it for sure.
On pumpkin carving, I am the only one who does it at my house. My kids and Mike all think that it is too nasty to do anything with, let alone touch.
We love you all and miss you so much.
