Moving to Cali
My Dad
This is my Dad.. he is an amazing man. A couple of months ago he was diagnosed with prostate cancer. The diagnoses was a bit of a shock and our family was a pretty stunned. You hear of other people being diagnosed with cancer but I don't think it really hits home until it is someone close to you. I was able to go to Utah last week as my Dad underwent surgery to remove his prostate. Surgery went well and the Dr. was able to remove all of the cancer. My dad was able to return home 24hrs after surgery and is doing great. It was a tough first night in the hospital for him and a rough first day home (no thanks to my mom and myself and our wonderful medication administration) but he is doing great and recovering quickly! I'm so glad that I was able to spend time with my dad and our family!
Thanks to all of the doctors, nurses, friends and family who have taken such great care of my family and shown so much love to my parents!
My dad is one of the the greatest men I know. He has always been there for me and our family. He is a hard worker and always did his best to provide for us. He is smart and witty...he is fun and silly. He is absolutely remarkable and I am proud to call him my Dad.

So you think you can dance?
Both Porter and Phearson have always liked music since they were infants.... Its the kind of music that makes this a little funny. Sweet lullabyies or Mozart you think? Nope, not my boys! When Porter was a baby and being fussy all I would have to do is put in my Gwen Stefani CD and he would instantly clam down. The big hit around our house these days is Averil Lavigne's song "Girlfriend". Both boys love it and will dance around throughout the whole song however I think Phearson is the funniest. This video doesn't quite capture all that I mean but It gives you a little idea. As soon as he hears the music he will stop what he is doing, his eyes light up and he will crawl as fast as his little body will move him to wherever the music is coming from and dance. Many times he gets going so much he falls to the floor but stands right back up and starts dancing again. No mater how many times he does this it still brings a smile to my face each time! Gwen Stefani? Averil Lavigne? Daddy is so proud. (Hee hee!) I LOVE IT!
(Never mind Porter getting in trouble in the background...)
