Something like this happened......
... And then there was "US"
So this Valentines Day was kind of a special one for us. It was ten years ago Valentines Day that thoes famous words were spoken... "So do you wan't to marry me or what?" Yep that's right... thoes were the words. It's been 10 whole years and we both agree it was the best decision we ever made!
So of course Valentines Day is a little different these days with two little boys running around crazy and keeping us busy. No romantic dinner dates this year but we did have a nice day with our little family. Balloons and a fun Valentines breakfast including; strawberries, red eggs and cinnamon rolls with red sprinkles started off the morning before Porter was off to school. I was able to enjoy a fun day with "all" of my boys, even getting to see my sweet littlest boy via ultrasound. We ended our day with dinner at El Torrito Grill with the Hess family. The kids actually behaved pretty well and everyone managed to eat and enjoy each others company! I have to say that even though there was no candle lit dinner, romantic walks on the beach or dancing the night away... It was a great Valentines Day!

Adam and I both got a kick out of Ryan's proposal and that is the cutest Valentine's breakfast, especially the twizzler straw!
What a great post! I love the pictures, especially the older ones. It's so easy to picture Ryan proposing that way. Glad you guys are so happy together!!! Happy Valentine's Day!

Looks like fun. You guys celebrated a lot more than we did. You have a very cute family. I love your boys to pieces!!
P.S. I am jealous of your boots!!
We're working on 10 too. Hard to believe sometimes. Then sometimes it feels like 20. Gotta love it.
Wow- I am starting to feel a little ripped off- I got nothing for Valentines Day and after I read your posting, I realized that Alan proposed in February and we spent Valentine's Day that year looking for a ring! I think I need to remind him that a little romance is okay! Or at least some great memories of when it was there- I guess after 16 years there's not too much expectation! Enjoy yours!
