I know that many children develop night time rituals, you know... gotta have a drink, or a favorite animal/toy, or a blanket or whatever. But I think things may have gotten a little bit out of control here at our house!
Things NEEDED in order for Phearson to go to bed/nap.
A PACIFIER.
Or "Pappy" as Phearson calls it
(The child is "hooked"!!!)
A cup of MILK
His FAVORITE BLANKET
This one he holds(and rubs in between his fingers)
The "OTHER BLANKET"
This one he likes over him
The movie CARS playing on one of our portable DVR players
(I know, how sad is it that a 2yr old has a TV in his room! Horrible parents!!)
And last but not least... The FAN blowing directly ON HIM
A little extreme maybe... But who can complain if the end result is THIS!!

Looks like he's moved onto the bunk bed. I agree, whatever it takes to get them to sleep. Thanks to who ever invented the pappy especially. It always seems to make things better. Gotta love those little guys!
i love all your posts! i do have to say im a lil guilty with this one...i have 2 have a fan directly on me and the bedroom door locked (safty freak i know) but cant complain when u sleep like a baby hehe
Sometimes, you've gotta do whatever it takes to get those kids down! I sometimes wish my husband would take a pacifier, then life would really be good. :)
I'm starting to agree more and more with the title of this post... whatever it takes! He is such a cute kid and is getting so big! I'm not sure what it is but when I look at pictures of him, it usually reminds me of Lincoln.
You're right on track. What ever gets them and you a good nights sleep. I too need a fan blowing directly on me even in the winter.
uummmmm is this what I get to look foward to.... digging my son out of a nap??hahahahahaaaaa I can see that happening and me saying ..."wow Brody ..you take after you dad"!!! lol
