I know that everyone says that it is the "terrible two's" right. It's not that I disagree with this completely, however, from my experience... It only STARTS with age 2. It is at that lovely becoming of 2yrs when "it" all begins. Most of you know what I am talking about. It is a time in a child's life when they can seem to become a LITTLE difficult, rigid and inflexible. They want exactly what they want, when they want it. They cannot adapt, give in, wait a little while, oh and of course the tantrums, who can forget the tantrums.
And unfortunately
3yrs old doesn't seem to get much better! (at least around this house)
In fact, I might even step out on a limb here, and say that I believe that 3 may be just a bit worse.
Not only are "they" still rigid and inflexible,
"They" are now a bit smarter and a whole lot sassier.
"They" become a bit more mischievous and sneaky
(I can only imagine what is going through his head right now)
"They" disagree with everything I have to say (even if It is that the sky is blue)
"They" are constantly testing their limits,
telling me how and what they are going to.
(For instance: "If you put me in time out I will just walk away")
And need to be reminded frequently about who is really calling the shots around here.
"They" throw just as many temper tantrums if they don't get their way, only now they will throw other things on the ground in frustration instead of themselves.
Thankfully there is an end in sight!
6 months ,3days and 2 1/2 hours.... but who is counting right.
For now... It's One day at a time...
I love him,
even though he is 3!

I can see that out of your little guy. He's still lovable despite it though! That's great!

I have always said that 3 is much worse than 2 for the exact reasons you stated! I'll let you know if I keep that opinion in a couple years! Good thing they are cute though!
He is cute. I agree with the terrible threes. When they are two, it can still be kinda funny when they are naughty- not so much when they are three.

ha ha, totally! 3 is the worst and we thought ruby was hard at 2!!! We are in trouble. I will send him to you!
My mom always said.. terrible 2s, horrible 3s! Being cute is the ONLY way they survive!
