A Snowy Spring

I had been promising the kids that we were going to make a trip to Grandma and Grandpa's house for months. The original plan was to go during the winter so the boys could not only visit Grandma and Grandpa but to play in the snow. Well winter quickly snuck away and the trip was never made. With Spring Break approaching we decided it was the perfect time to pack everyone up and make "the" road trip... and that is just what we did.
Unfortunately not expecting any snow.
However Grandma and Grandpa (or mother nature) worked their magic...
and Whaaaa... laaaa!
We were treated to a fun Snowy Spring Vacation!

Needless to say, the kids were in heaven. "Grandma and Grandpa Bell's" house and SNOW!

There was no time wasted before the first snowball fight broke out.

And the party didn't stop there. Grandma and Grandpa found even more snow for some sledding and inter tubing fun!

Porter was in HEAVEN!

While others A.) were not quite as prepared with REAL snow clothes and B.) Not too sure about SO MUCH snow.

A good time was still had by all!

After we got the excitement of all the snow out of the way we continued to play, play, play.

We celebrated special Birthday's

And played lots of great games.

We climbed a pirates cove,

Jumped and bounced our little brains out

And played a few mean games of air hockey.

We stuffed our faces with lots of yummy food and treats.

Mom and Dad even managed to squeezed in a fun date night of "adult" go kart racing, (Thanks to wonderful Grandma and Grandpa!) to celebrate this crazy kid's birthday.

Although "SOME" of US first timers were too busy playing, taking pictures and laughing during the instructional video and missed some important information about the techniques of driving the go karts....

A blast was had by all!

(And we WILL be prepared to kick some go kart racing, you know what next time around!)

And check this out....

Even that bummer of a speeding ticket Ryan got on the drive there payed off for something!

What a great Snow Spring Vacation it turned out to be!!

Looks like fun was had by all. I am not jealous of the snow but wish we could have been up there to celebrate birthdays and Easter since Daniel had to work. Love the pictures.

We sure enjoyed our time with you guys...didn't like placing so far behind everyone in go- carting, but it was my first time. I will be ready the next time and maybe I will pay attention to the video...NOT!
