Porter's big birthday wish was...
"For another baby". And since THAT WAS NOT GONNA HAPPEN his next big Birthday wish was...
To go to Wild Rivers! ("and that was do-able")
It has actually kind of become a tradition each summer. Now that his has learned to swim this little 6 year old was ready and more excited than ever for our big summer adventure to Wild Rivers.
We explored the new Pirate themed "Buccaneer Bay"
and lounged in our Pirate Cabana
We enjoyed many trips to the "hot tubs" (Phearson's Favorite)
and soaked in the sun
But the best part of this Wild Rivers adventure was that Porter was able to try out all of the "big" water rides. I love that he is a bit of a dare devil for 6 years old and is willing to try almost anything. He had a blast hanging out with his dad and the big boys all day trying out the big rides.
But I bet if you asked him yourself, he would probably tell you hands down that his favorite thing in the whole park would be hanging out in the lazy river. (He does have a bit of his mom in him after all)
And personally...
I don't blame him!
(Sun filled, lazy birthdays are my favorite too)

What a great day that was. You got some awesome pictures! Now I wish I would have taken my camera around more. I love the ones with the names labeling each person and I'm definitely going to ask that you e-mail me the one of Amelia with her tongue sticking out. I love your label to this one. Next time I'll grab your camera and take a few of you. Us moms don't always appear to be part of the party. Who will take those pictures if we don't, though?!
Too bad I missed it...I do love a good party!
Glad you guys had a good time..We had fun with little Tavy..
C'mon Autumn...what's one more baby? 3, 4...what's the diff? :)
Looks like an amazing time! Wish we lived closer so we could join in the fun.
Sooooo sad we missed it! Looks like it was full of fun, and what a brave boy!
