Looking back

Wow, where have the months gone! I can't believe it is October already!! It seems like just yesterday that school was getting out and summer was finally here. It really does feel like life is just passing me by.

We played hard all summer, hung out with family and friends, and enjoyed lots of free time. Summer is now over and the kids are back to school. We are adjusting to new schedules both with school and work, launching new businesses and still head deep in a "quick" kitchen make over. (Plus all that other stuff that comes with daily life.) Since I have fallen so far behind I thought I would do a quick recap of the last couple of months.

Needless to say we were very excited for summer, sun, and skateboards

We did (another) "quick makeover" to the backyard since this is where we spend the majority of our time.

We set up "our pool" (fancy isn't it) the first opportunity we could

And borrowed a few others as well

We enjoyed the beach

A few sunsets...

And a bonfire

We enjoyed warm summer evenings with friends

and tried out a few new stunts

We enjoyed the outdoors

And learned a few new tricks

We went on bike rides

and returned to the most magical place around (Disneyland!)

We are getting prepared for the holidays

and getting a little crafty too

It has been a crazy, busy, fun time and I can only imagine what the next few months will bring.

There is one thing I know for a fact...

life will not be slowing down around this place anytime too soon!
