Loving some Sun

There are several of things in life that make me very happy. My family, Coca Cola, fun friends and most of all... the SUN! I don't know what it is exactly but I absolutely love to be warm. There is just something special about the sun that does wonders for me. I feel so much more motivated to get up and get going. I want to clean my house and I want to exercise, I want to go on a bike ride, or take the kids to the park, or do some yard work or paint a room or two. It really is amazing what a little sunshine can do to this girl. And not only does the sun make me happy, it seems to have that effect on my kids as well.
Word got out that we were going to have a warming trend for a few days and that is all it took. We headed straight for the beach and couldn't have been much happier!
(Driving with the windows down to the beach)

There is a little "beach" down in Belmont Shore that we like to take the kids to. It is actually a bay. There aren't any waves so the little kids can play by the water (without being knocked down or drug out to sea), parking is close and the sand/sitting area is close to the water. (just in case mom needs to make a run to the water to help a little one unexpectedly. Less jiggle for everyone else on the beach to witness)

The weather was perfect and the crowds a minimum. It was a great day!
Relaxing in the sun, collecting shells, playing in the warm sand and splashing in the cool water.

And what is better than to spend a great beach day with great friends.

Unfortunately the sun and warmth has only lasted a week or so and rain is expected again tomorrow...
We enjoyed every second of it!
Until next time!

It was a great day. And to Trisha...there is a reason that there were NO pictures taken of us that day! :)

I doubt anything on you would jiggle, you crazy girl!
Tav's mohawk is rad!
Hope that great weather is there when we head down in a couple of weeks! Can't wait to see you guys.

P.S. It is spring break here and it is snowing. Can you believe that? So bogus. :)
