Seven

On Friday this kid turned 7 years old.

He started his special day off with his breakfast of choice... Donuts!!

We/he had the "bestest birthday ever" planned. It has become tradition to go to Wild Rivers Water park for his birthday and he wasn't going to have it any different this year (pirate cabana, pirate decorations, shark cupcakes and all). He couldn't have been more excited. Unfortunately mother nature had a different idea and the weather forecast was less than promising for his big day... Overcast with a high of 71 degrees. I know what your thinking... 71 degrees, not bad right... but without the sun not shining we just didn't want to chance it. We canceled the plan for Wild Rivers the night before and began to scramble for a back up plan. Ryan had taken the day off of work and Porter was beyond bummed.

Luckily we heard of fun place called Sky High Sports and decided to try it out. It is basically an indoor, wall to wall (including the walls), trampoline. They have trampoline dodge ball, a trampoline to foam pit and free jump trampolines. It was a big hit for this Birthday boy!

Although I'm not sure who had more fun... the Birthday Boy, or his Dad.

After we all jumped our little brains out we moved the party over to Wahoo's for food, presents and cupcakes.

He made out big this year with lots of fun gifts!

And just coincidentally... The Birthday boy managed to loose his 7th tooth by the end of his 7th Birthday Day!

Seven proved to be a lucky one after all. Happy Seven to my little man!!
