4th of July and a broken family

Most of you already know how our big 4th of July weekend turned out so I will make this simple. Things we did to celebrate the 4th of July... in a nutshell
Enjoyed a yummy

Visited with some fun friends we hadn't see for a while Made a trip to the ER

Got some stitches, a tetanus shot and a date with an orthopedic surgeon Had a fun Barbecue! With wonderful friends and family Ate some yummy food Set up one of these And did some good old slipp'n and slide'n UNTIL Porter got hurt! Watched a spectacular firework show at Veteran's stadium

Made ANOTHER trip to the Yes that is 2 visits to the ER in one day... seriously when does that ever happen! (Only at my house) This time to get x-rays, a sling and another date with an orthopedic Dr. for a broken collar bone!

Looks like it may be a LONG summer! I'm so proud to be an american... free to choose my own healthcare!!

Hope you all had a very FUN and SAFE 4th of July!

What a busy holiday for you guys! I feel so bad that they both got hurt. And I can't believe Porter broke his collar bone... how painful! Other than the injuries it looks like you guys had a pretty fun holiday though!

It looks like you guys have been taking lesson from Colby who was always going to the emergency room! You better talk to your mom about it. It looks like there was fun to be had though with the other activities!

Thank you for your funny comment about being free to choose your own health care. For now at least. Let's just hope we still have that option with this upcoming election!
Whoa...gettin' a little too political now! Anyway...I hope that little buddy is feeling okay. Maybe you spoke too soon on your last post about your crazy family!

What a day! So sorry about Ryan and Porter. Hudson broke his collar bone 2 years ago this same month. Fortunatly they're not in pain for too long. Unfortunatly, you have to be on your guard while they are healing because they still do stupid boy things. I wish you the best.

Autumn,
I don't know how you do it!! I have been blog stalking you for a bit and thought I would finally come out of the closet and tell you that my jaw is to the ground with every post I read. What an exciting life you lead! Two emergency room visits in one day? It would have been three for me because I think I would have had myself temporarily committed for exhaustion so I could rest. What an incredible mother you are. At least you all were able to have some fun on the 4th.
Take care!

Whoa. Girl, you seriously have your hands full. It's a good thing you're a nurse! I have a feeling those skills are going to be put to good use.

Putting a picture of me just hours after delivery on your blog is pretty low but we did send your hubby to the emergency, I guess we're even now.

So...are you getting a minivan?
